Super Aguri announces launch date of SA08!

Finally, some big news! Super Aguri has announced the launch date of their car for 2008. The SA08 will make its debut at the Circuit of Catalunya on the 19th of February. Aguri Suzuki, Mark Preston and the race drivers will be present at the event to discuss the new car.
Finally, some big news! Super Aguri has announced the launch date of their car for 2008. The SA08 will make its debut at the Circuit of Catalunya on the 19th of February. Aguri Suzuki, Mark Preston and the race drivers will be present at the event to discuss the new car.
Now lets hope the launch isn't delayed like last year! Personally, I'm very happy with these news because, just last week, I saw a podcast saying that SA would race with their old car on the first three races and only present the new one after that.
The question now is how exactly the car will be? Will it be based on Honda's disastrous RA107? This is possible, since the SA07 was based on Honda's 2006 car.
Will it be based on Honda's all-new RA108, which will be presented on the 29th of January? Or will Super Aguri surprise us and show an original car?
Another thing worthy of note is that we'll finally know the driver line-up straight from Super Aguri and not from the FIA. So far, everything indicates that we'll have Sato and Davidson again.

this is good new that at least they have a car for 2008, they can make some miracles to every car they have built.

It is said that Super Aguri will use the SA08 (RA107 development) for the first few races of the season - the European leg - and will then bring out the SA08B (RA108 development).

Any inside news how things are going?
Super Aguri hardly got any testing mileage so far - 40 km only (compared to other teams who've already done about 4000 km)!
Will we see the team test 1-3 February at Catalunya just like other teams?

I hope so but if they dont then I guess thats down to the money troubles. To survive I think we need more support from Honda or a big sponser both are probably impossible.
