According to Autosport.com, the next few days will be critical for the team's survival.
The Weigl Group is based in Pottmes, Bavaria. It concentrates on metalworking, notably with transmissions and treatments for engine parts. The company was involved in F1 through the Midland team, where it was going to help MF1 in the design and construction of their gearbox.
The bad news is that this offer has been around for some months and Honda has not shown much interest in it, since Weigl doesn't seem to have the kind of money to be able to go forward with this.
Aguri Suzuki believes a deal with Weigl would be able to finance the team until the end of the season.
