Why a GP2 Site?
By Shelley White June 27 2008
One of the questions we've been asked is why a GP2 dedicated site? You just have to watch some of the series to see why we have an interest. The young guns going wheel to wheel in close racing, exciting championships and the cream of the crop being promoted no less to Formula 1, the pinnacle of open wheeled motorsport.

So aside from the brilliant racing, the up and coming star drivers, the fast and powerful cars which are only a few seconds a lap off the pace of the fastest Formula 1, why else?

It came about when we were trying to find out more about the series, which we found to be quite difficult. Sure there are snippets here and there on various motor sport dedicated websites, and there is the official website which is a wealth of information, but no independent news site dedicated to the happenings of one of the most exciting open wheeler series on earth.

Here we'll bring the driver transfers, the rumours, the results, the workings and all the news from the GP2 series and keep the public informed. We've even provided a place for you to converse with your fellow fans!

Hopefully this answers the question of why the site exists, now we just hope that you enjoy it.
