"I know I can drive a car. I know I can dance. I don't know if I can play the guitar, but I'll take lessons," joked Castroneves after capturing the pole. He also is eyeing the possibiliy of cutting into Scott Dixon's season points lead.
Dixon, who has won this race for the past two years, will be starting in fifth spot on a track where passing is not the most frequent of occurrences. Danica Patrick doesn't think that there will be alot of it tonight, either. "I don't think it's going to be two-wide. It will be for the first couple of laps. You may see people use the outside on restart after they sweep the high lane, but it will be very hard to pass."
With EJ Viso forced to sit out this weekend's race with the mumps & Roth Racing not bringing a car for Jay Howard, tonight's race will feature only 24 cars; the smallest field so far this year - although it is still bigger than any field, outside of Indy, during the 2007 IndyCar season.
Here is the complete sarting grid:
The race begins at 8pm ET tonight. The Firestone Indy Lights Series will hold a race at 3:30PM at Nashville this afternoon.
