Front Row Seats - Again

For the second weekend in a row, the Team Penske duo of Ryan Briscoe and Helio Castroneves will start a race from the front row. This time, however, it will be Ryan on pole and Helio in the #2 spot when the Rexall Edmonton Indy gets underway at 5pm ET.

As the contest on the Edmonton Airpot tarmac is one of the races that "transfered" over to the IndyCar Series from the former CCWS circut, it was to be expected that several of the former Champ Car drivers would place well in qualifying. Oriol Seriva will start 3rd, alongside IndyCar points leader Scott Dixon. The next two rows are filled by CCWS veterans Will Power, Justin Wilson, Bruno Junqueira & Graham Rahal.

Tony Kanaan would suffer back luck during the "knockout" qualifying when he spun off in the first session & damaged the engine. He will start from the last (27th) grid spot.

Former CCWS star Paul Tracy, who is making his 1st IndyCar start since the '02 Indy 500, will roll off from the 15th spot.
