Felipe Massa was the first Ferrari driver to take the F2007 on track, today at the team's Fiorano test track. The track was very foggy and therefore Massa did not do very many laps and slid off onto the grass due to the severely decreased visibility.

Many team personnel were on hand for the car's on track debut, including Felipe's fellow Ferraris driver Kimi Raikkonen and Luca Badoer. Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo was also on hand, along with the newly retired Ferrari legend Michael Schumacher, both on hand to observe the test's proceedings.

Besides the poor weather, the Scuderia were happy with the F2007's first shakedown as Felipe ran 39 laps on the long version of the circuit, with a quickest time of 0'58.360.

Kimi Raikkonen will get his first taste of the new Ferrari next week on the 23rd of January. Both drivers will take to the track for this session which will be held at the Mugello circuit.
