Felipe Massa was on track for the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro team, during testing at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit which will host the Belgian Grand Prix in September. Massa was the third fastest driver on track, behind Robert Kubica in the BMW and Lewis Hamilton who set the fastest time of the day in his McLaren.

The Brazilian completed 65 laps of the circuit, setting a best time of 1'47.469. Felipe worked primarily on achieving an optimum setup for this circuit and its Grand Prix on the 16th of September.
