Happy Thanksgiving to all
By Alex Egeling November 22 2007
Ferrari 1 gives thanks to all of the readers of the website and posters in forum. We are thankful for Ferrari winning both championships this year. Hopefully next year we can reproduce those same results without the controversy and espionage claims.
Thanksgiving is a traditional North American holiday to give thanks at the end of the harvest season. It is celebrated on the fourth Tuesday of November, and the second Monday of October in Canada.  At Ferrari 1, we wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving, and we also give thanks to Ferrari for being the best team in Formula One.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving for us few American fans
To show that it is truely a North American holiday you need to give the date that it is celebrated in Mexico. After all there are 3 countries in North America,

Actually, there are ten if you include all the way south to Panama, & more depending on how many of the Carribean countries you include.

I don't know how many of those other countries have a holiday that is similar to Thanksgiving.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving for us few American fans
Andy, The definition of what is North America is somewhat fluid depending on your point of view. If you think that there are only Norht and South America, you may be right. However, many adherents to that school of thought frequently include Greenland as a Norht American country. Geologically, the North American tectonic plate stops just about the southern border of Mexico, but extends norht to include Greenland. But if you think there is also a Central America, then ypou need to exclude Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvadore, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama from any definition of North America. That would leave Mexico, USA, Canada and Greenland. Despite its location on the Norht American tectonic plate, I think most folks would have a hard time saying that Greenland is part of Norht America, especially our Danish friends. As fo rthe Caribbean Islands, they are just that, islands stuck between North and South America. Sorry Cuba, Puerto Rico, Haiti you are on your own.

So, I'm Sticking to my original definition of North America; Canada, USA, Mexico.

Now back to my original question...When does Mexico celebrate Thanksgiving?
