Strategy could be the key to next weeks Brazilian Grand Prix, as once again the weather forecast predicts scattered thunderstorms for GP weekend.

The weather was a major factor for the teams when preparing for Australia and Malaysia this year, as both race weekends were forecast rain.

The rain had a direct effect on the race at Melbourne as the cars started on a drying track, some teams opting to use intermediate tyres with others making a last minute change to dry tyres, whilst at Sepang, the threat of rain was ever-present for the race, but did hold off until after the chequered flag.

Although currently the weather at Sao Paolo is fine, rain is expected to hit the area on Wednesday afternoon.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are forecast to be mostly cloudly with scattered thunderstorms, highs in the low 80s and lows in the mid 60s, while partial sunshine is expected for race day, with a high temperature in the upper 70s and lows once again in the mid 60s
