Yes, the FW 33 was only marginally quicker than last year's HRT . . . and even that's when Narain was eating a sandwich with one hand and listening to the BBC World Service in Hindu on his in-car radio.

Let's be clear. There's no back end and only a tiny gearbox in the Williams this year, because they couldn't afford the scrap metal from old Coca Cola bottle tops.

The car is a disaster! Innovation is wrong!

Well, this thread completely bucks the trend of blowing pre-season bubbles of optimism.

This season will be a disaster! We have gone crazy with the design, the balance is all wrong, we have no sponsors to pay to fix it and we have a silly pay driver and an old man in the cockpit.

8th place in Constructors Championship behind Lotus and Sauber!

We barely have any sponsors and therefore no money to develop a car which clearly had little money go into it in the first place, i mean we didn't even have enough to build a rear end.

We're 2, no 3, no 4 seconds of the pace. The car is only slighly faster than last years HRT!

ALL IS LOST!

It will be a disaster, we will get knock out in Q1 at Bahrain, the rear end is a disaster with multiple driveshafts failures, and Williams can't do another thing than revert to a 2010 gearbox with classic push rod, the situation improves a bit, but the car still isn't able to get better than 12 th in the grid, with no points scored, Rubens decides to leave by mid season and retires after heavy criticising Sam Michael, who's fired, Frank hires Pat Symonds to replace him and Chavez imposes the Venezuelan Rodolfo Gonzalez to take Barrichello's seat, which Sir Frank can only say yes because if he said no, it would have mean that the Venezuelan money would be gone.

Let's just face it. We're going to get creamed. Never mind all the technical reasons. The car is a botch and the team have forgotten how to perform.

Williams 2011 World Champions. I'm trying to be as pessimistic as possible

Well I see it as a shining endorsement of how positive their outlook is that K1/Hemmorrhage/CK11 have so far refrained from posting on the official pessimism thread.

Our only innovation the gearbox will be copied easily by the other teams just like the Renault exhaust (source: [www.motorsport-total.com]). So any advantage of our conservative car design will be gone. On the top Renault and Williams will have problems with their tires. Williams is going to have difficulties to get them on temperature and Kubica will destroy them in 2 rounds completly. These faulty designs by Renault and Williams will lead to disastrous performances that can't be resolved during the season so they will fight at the end of the field even behind of HRT. Because of additional clauses Renault and Williams will lose all their sponsers. Because of the lost court case Lotus and Renault will join the good performing Team Lotus. So the blank Ex-Renaut team has to do a flotation too and Williams will sell 75 % of the Williams company to get the money for running the season. Paul Stoddart and Eddy Jordan are going to enjoy the new team spirit of Williams and Renault so they buy them both on the stocket market for one euro and form the Jordan-Stoddart twin-sister-allstar teams with pay drivers and old stars like Ralf Schumacher (who is outing himself gay and becomes the first gay driver in f1)/Maldonado (who is crashing every race). Sponsor of Williams will be the biggest gay community of the world so the millitary will force Chavez to quit the team aswell. As consequence Nakajima will return and crash before the races even start.
