What is your favourite F1 circuit?

While we wait for the second bank of testing days to commence, I'm interested to know what your favourite F1 circuit is? It can be to view on TV as a spectator, to visit the track to watch the race live, or even favourite track to race within F1 games.

For me, I'll break it down to the following:

To watch on TV: I love watching the race at Suzuka, but Monza is a close second.
To visit the track: I only went to 1 Malaysian Grand Prix, but the view from the grandstands at Sepang was amazing, and the ticket price relatively cheap (For comparison - I spent about $150AUD for a great seat at Sepang, from where I could see about 40-50% of the circuit. Compared to Melbourne where I'd usually pay $400AUD to $500AUD, and Singapore where I would pay around $900AUD only to see far less of the track). I regret not having gone back to Sepang more than once.
To play as a game: I love to race in Canada and Brazil - Those are my 2 favourite tracks to (virtually) drive.

And as a side question, which F1 circuit of old would you like to bring back? For me, it'd come down to old Hockenheim, or the Istanbul Park circuit.

It's hard to name my favorite circuit but for sure I can tell which track I miss alot: Istanbul Park.
It was certainly one of the top3 in terms of racing it was providing...The track had alot of overtaking places, unique turns and everything.
Also for me was an ideal race to visit because of the distance & price for where I live.

In game, well it's been 6-7 yrs since I last did a rfactor league so I've missed some new tracks in a sim.But for those times Fuji speedway, Shanghai and Imola were great fun.Disasters were Korea and Abu Dhabi for me.

I'm not into travelling so I can't speak about visiting a track in person.

My favourite circuits to watch races on as a TV spectator are Montreal, Shanghai, Albert Park and Spa. These 4 I'm always looking forward to. They rarely disappoint in terms of quality of racing. And even if the particular race is not very good, these tracks already have a positive connotation in my mind so I like just looking at cars racing around there.

It's been a long time since I played a racing game for the last time. I can't say I had any particular preferences. My favourite track in F1 2011 was probably Abu Dhabi. I really liked the 3rd sector there and felt it was suiting my racing style. There was one thing in common for any game: I was always struggling in Monaco. (Sm100)

Favorite to visit; been to many GPs. Most of which at Spa. So small guess which one I favor to visit?

To watch on TV; Im always pleased to watch Monaco. It is just different from all other coverages. Trackside advertising is just "messy" and therefor looks great on TV. Better than the structured DHL, Emirates, Heineken and Pirelli parts of the track at usual venues.

To play in a game; I always liked Istanbul Park.
Non Formula One tracks include: Road America, Sebring, Indianapolis (the Oval), La Sarthe, Oschersleben and Bathurst. In no specific order.

my favourite tracks are the OLD mexico city track and the OLD Österreichring with their high speed curves and flowing layouts.

another favourite track is Interlagos and its atmosphere, but due to fear of criminal/local robbery, it's not on my agenda to attend the race.

I love Spa to visit and Silverstone for TV. Both tracks are great at showing off the insane speed f1 cars have.

On TV: This is a hard one, as I like watching Canada even though it's 3am till 5am, Imola was always good to watch, but my all time favourite was Adelaide!

At the track: I've only ever been to watch the cars live in Melbourne, and is not really a great place to see the cars for any stretch of time. I would have loved to see them at Sepang though. Sadly that won't be happening any time soon.

On a Sim/game: I really do well at the Austrian GP! Not entirely sure why, it just flows and the more you attack (smoothly) the better the time. The undulation is another fun aspect of the lap.

Like many other people here, I love Monaco, just because it’s Monaco. There’s something about it that I will always love, eve if the race is “boring”. I really like Canada (been to two GP’s here) and Spa - and of the recent tracks I most enjoy COTA and Baku. I also love Australia because it’s mixed with all the emotions of the first race of the year (usually), and Singapore is also a favorite just because of the tight track and the lights making the cars look fantastic. So yeah, I actually like a lot of tracks ;-)
