Then, there was news he didn't have a super license yet about a month ago. Now? Red light.
Williams wouldn't fork out money for his super license unless they were sure he was going to put it to good use. He could have run this test without the super license and just used the green light like land norris.

The picture I linked before with kubica in the Renault shows the reflection from the green rain light in the Renault garage. He didn't have the super license back then.

Thanks Mike I see probably Robert has been taking care of getting his super license back.
Reports of his Hungaroring test said he did the extration test in a record time too.
I'm 99.9% sure Robert will drive for us in 2018.
And i'm not worried about is times today, tomorrow i'll do a 1'38 or go 1'37 although i think that's a bit to much for our car.

Interesting to se that every tema used the halo and a bunch od pressure sensors to check the air flow but I can not find one picture of our car with either the halo or sensors.
Maybe we are so much focused on driver selection we dropped the ball on technical developments.

Isnt it Kubica yesterday vs Sirotkin today? Kubica today has not raced so many laps as in the table, then it is not comparable. In fact snything is comparable in the tests, only Williams has full data

So Kubica is faster 0.1s in comparison to Stroll on hypersoft, and expectation was that Kubica has to be at least 1-1.5 s faster than Stroll am i wrong?
Aldona Marciniak - journalist from Eleven Sports (they broadcast F1 in Poland) who was in the paddock, wrote that when the test finished and Robert was in, they closed the garage and she heard a bravo ovation.
So I'm very happy with the test and will wait for official announcements.

The head to head comparsion between Kubica and Sirotkin seems to be a hard one considering none of their stints length were the same, fuel loads is a question too just like every other test session.
Though we all wished for low 38s on quali simulation and a complete destroy of Sirotkin on long runs.it did not happen for any reason.track conditions, fuel loads, engine modes or simply the pure speed.

As far as I know, no driver specific setups were allowed as it was dictated by Pirelli, and even Paddy said he will not discus speed and pace as it is complex topic and they even not analyzed it for themselves.
So please don't try to be smarter than Paddy, test lap times will tell you nothing without additional info only teams have, otherwise should we rate Bottas higher than Lewis, or Vandoorne equal to Fernando?
