Azerbaijan GP: Race

Starting from 10th & 11th. So long as we can show some pace in the race points are a possibility. But this is the sort of race where anything can happen.

Yes agreed.

The qualie pace has been proved so far but results from race pace have been very poor.
Lets hope they have got on top of that as well now for this race.

In the Williams TV interview, Rob said they had some new parts on the car. Sounds as if they're getting on with things. He also talked about a really intense programme for Robert in Barcelona, not just on the Friday but also the following week.

No idea about the race. I had expected to see either Vettel or Bottas for the win, but I see Lewis has woken up.The FIs look strong. And Sainz always excels on street circuits and needs a good weekend. Realistically, I'd say we're fighting Hulk for the final point.

That was not SIR's fault. If you watch, ALO moves right and HUL moves left. He had nowhere to go.

Re: Azerbaijan GP: Race
AlanJones 29 April, 2018 12:20
SIR and ALO have no blame. It was all on HUL.

BTW, possible scoop: this will be the last race in Baku. Miami will take Bakus place.

If we don't score points I'll be gutted. Stroll is on pace.

We can't follow other cars as the Fw41 overheats..

As we thought poor race pace from the 41 on high fuel load still

It seems we can follow. LeClerc is doing well. Perez could have us. But everyone behind is slower. So P9 would be realistic.

Nothing to do with fuel load. The problem is the cooling.

Re: Azerbaijan GP: Race
GPL 29 April, 2018 12:47
not sure about that because we had poor pace in FP2
