As the season draws to a close it's all about having the remaining races as successful as possible given the limitations.

From Russell's comments the updates having really helped him much in the car but they are all about 2020. Just hope that today sees two Williams that are close together in the times and maybe that little bit closer to the cars in front.

Friday long runs were competitive but as it looks so far, there's no chance of fighting anyone else in Quali.

Both cars with the new front wing. Same bargeboards and rear wing.

Kubica hitting a new low. 1.3 sec slower than George. What will be his excuse this time?

Vague implications of mistreatment whilst not actually saying anything as usual I expect. Only a few more races of this shitshow and then with any luck a less pathetic car next year and a better driver in the 2nd car. George only 2 tenths off the cars ahead.

RUS very close to both Haas, but the gap to Q2 was not little.

In the Formula1.com interviews he always seems to infer that it is his car that is the issue saying that it felt strange and that he had no grip. We have reached a point where it is getting even for his most die hard of fans difficult to explain his lack of pace simply but saying oh its the teams and the cars fault.

I have noticed that in the practice sessions that it seems to take him quite a few laps to get down to a time. Maybe he is simply struggling with that one lap pace necessary in qualifying. Could that come down to how he drives the car compared to Russell.

Whichever way all the conspiracy theories in the world won't help him out of this one.
