Alex Zanardi bike accident

Terrible news about Alex Zanardi - hope he recovers from yet another life-threatening accident. This guy must have stepped in one too many ants when he was a kid for the amount of bad luck he's suffered.

I've just listened to this Tom Clarkson interview with him, which was only recorded a few weeks ago, including his unsuccessful stint at Williams. What an incredible guy - a must-listen for anyone seeking some inspiration and positivity in their lives.

Wishing him all the best for a full recovery from his latest setback.

Zanardi, who raced for four Formula 1 teams in the 1990s, had to have both of his legs amputated above the knee following a horrific crash in a race in Germany in September 2001.

What? In Germany? I didn't think Zanardi's horrific crash where he lost his legs was in Germany, wasn't it in America?

It was in Germany. Eurospeedway as I recall. Horrific.
