A reasonably good result! The pace of that Sauber was surprising. I think every gamble they took paid off today. Perez started on full wets (or took them on in the 1st lap) was upto 3rd behind the safety car and after that incredible pace to keep them there until his mistake 5 laps from end.

That said if this was Melbourne he too would have been in the wall like Maldonado - who missed the pit box entry today!!! It's worse that driving into someone else's pit. Don't they have a lollipop to guide the driver? or he the lollipop man not there because of traffic?

That said Maldonado did come up from absolute last after his pit-stop blunder and pushed for 8-9-10th.

I say FW34 is a reasonably good car & could have won today in the hands of Alonso.
