It seems everyone else in the world thinks Williams and especially Senna had a good race all in.

Lest we forget Montreal in 2011 when Jenson Button put what is arguably one of the finest Grand Prix drives of all time. This is the kind of driver we are saying we need at Williams.

He had come from dead last after hitting his team mate in wet conditions.

Ring any bells?

Personally I think in those sorts of conditions, mistakes can be forgiven. I have driven a Formula First car in the rain on a track with other cars and it's utterly ridiculous. When Brundle says your eyes are out on stalks, he's not joking. It's massively intense and we weren't really racing as such. It's not just visibility either. You get bucket fulls of water coming in the car. It's grim!

God knows what it's like racing an F1 car in the rain.
