Maybe it wasn't parts? How do you classify raw material that is common among teams?

There is a surprisingly large amount of the technical insides that are sourced from the same distributors so that's a big generalisation but in essence you're right. There is absolutely nothing another team has in their garage that would service what Williams would allegedly need which is spares of their own products. It's a nonsensical rumour or an overinflated one. Just stuff that's difficult to prove either way and not significant enough to be important. Perfection for shoddy journalism
