Heinz-Harald Frentzen has been talking confidently about his prospects for the 2002 season with the OrangeArrows team. This week he has tested exclusively at Silverstone circuit and believes that a top 6 finish is within the teams grasp. Despite the OrangeArrows team having a tedious and fault laden start to the 2002 season, new recruit Heinz-Harald Frentzen is still confident that the teams fortunes will turn around.

His focus so far this year has been to develop the Cosworth powered A23, a car which he described at the outset as 'not bad'. He believes that the team will have to make the car much better to see any chance of a podium finish, but Frentzen is confident that he can achieve a top 6 finish which would go a long way to lifting the teams spirits.

In a recent interview, published on the net by F1-live.com, Frentzen was quoted as saying, "I wouldn't guarantee that I am not going to be on the podium this year. You never know what is going to happen in Formula One, it can be very exciting from one day to the other and it is full of surprises.

"It would be nice to be on the podium but I try to be logical. If we can make the car much better it would be a possibility but we have a lot of work to do still. My job now is to try to get some extra speed out of the car and I'm trying hard. My motivation is basically to make steps in development. The biggest reward would be to finish the race in the top six and get a point, that would lift everybody in the team up and give them more motivation for the future."
