This site is pleased to report that, despite the uncertainty as to whether they’ll be competing in the British Grand Prix on Sunday, Arrows are not going down without a fight and are reported to be already taking their cars back to the circuit. The team won an extension to the rule that all competing cars needed to have passed the scrutineering check by 16:00 today, and are due to have their cars inspected tomorrow (Friday) at 10:00.

The F1 news site pitpass.com has been the only site so far to be in contact with the team with regard to this deadline, and has confirmed this evening that the team are transporting their equipment back to Silverstone and are due to arrive at the circuit around 19:00. This news came to pitpass via “a high-ranking member of the team.”

Whilst this is indeed good news, uncertainty still surrounds the team’s entry into the race itself, as the issue of paying Cosworth for their engines remains unresolved.
