Wurz second fastest on day two of Sepang Test

Sepang Test 28:03:2007 Day Two
 

With the day again been sunny and hot the AT&T Williams team would continue their three day Sepang test with Alex Wurz again behind the steering wheel.

WurzThe team would come away pleased with a productive day of testing.

Alex was able to complete a full race distance as well as further setup work on the FW29. Alex would finish the day with the second fastest time, completing a total of 114 laps, the most by any driver on the day.

AT&T Williams Race Team Manager Tim Newton commented: “Another hot and sticky but very productive day. Alex did a good job and managed to complete a race distance including pit stops by lunchtime. This afternoon we did some shorter runs focused on set-up work which also proved very productive. Nico will pick up on the driving duties for tomorrow’s final day.”
