Rosberg quickest in final Canadian Practice

AT&T Williams drivers Nico Rosberg would be quickest in final practice session for the 2008 Canadian GP. He would be backed up by team-mate Kazuki Nakajima who would finish in fifth. Nico would be quickest for most of the session but the session would see accidents from both the Torro Rosso cars. This would see the session delayed as well as drivers not be able to improve on their times.

 
 Canadian GP Saturday Practice
 

After a productive Friday practice session the AT&T Williams team would see Nico Rosberg finish fastest in the final practice session for the Canadian Grand Prix. Team-mate Kazuki Nakajima would back up Nico finishing in an encouraging fifth. Nico was quickest throughout the second half of the session.

Kimi Raikkonen was second behind Rosberg, with Lewis Hamilton third for McLaren and Massa in fourth. The session was halted with fourteen minutes to go when Sebastian Vettel crashed his Toro Rosso at the exit of Turn 9.

There would be a rush by the drivers to use the super-soft tyres, as the field looked at attempting their qualifying simulations. But the session would again be hampered as Vettel's teammate Sebastien Bourdais crashed his car into the wall at Turn Five. As a result no one was able to improve. Vettel would not take part in qualifying as a result as his car was too badly damaged.
