New Windtunnel for WilliamsF1

It has been reported in the British media that the WilliamsF1 team are finalising plans to construct a new windtunnel. The WilliamsF1 team currently has a windtunnel facility but the new one would be more advanced.

It was claimed that the new facility will cost 38 million and be able to test full size models on a rolling road, rather than the current smaller scale versions.

This move has come about as a direct result of the teams desire to challenge Ferrari. This year the FW24 has been criticised in certain quarters for its poor aerodynamics. It is hoped that the new windtunnel will allow the team to move forward in the area of aerodynamics.
