With the 2013 Formula One season ended the Williams F1 continues to bring on new staff as the technical side of the team undergoes a restructuring under the direction of Pat Symonds.

With Felipe Massa joining the team in 2014 his current race engineer Rob Smedley is expected to join the team while in the New Year Jenson Button’s former race engineer Jakob Andreasen will also join the team. His role will see him involved in a more factory-based role.

Andreasen agreed to to join the team some months ago from Force India, where he has had the key role of chief race engineer. Prior to his time at Force India he was at McLaren. He was Lewis Hamilton’s data engineer before becoming Button’s race engineer from 2010.

But with new staff joining the team certain staff are departing including Williams chief race engineer Xevi Pujolar who is leaving to join Toro Rosso. This could possibly Rob Smedley take over his position at the team.

Very glad to have Jakob Andreasen on board, he has a cracking recent CV I hope he brings Williams a wealth of fresh thinking and a much needed sharper edge track-side.

It's a pity his cracking CV will be spoilt by poorly performing Williams then.

You are quite predictable on most of what you say, try reading or going to the cinema, you may upgrade your creativity and may help your comments to vary occassionally. Wont be a quick change but would be a first step.

I think it's a good thing when you know, what can you expect from people, so no, thanks.
