With the opening
test of the 2016 Formula One season drawing closer it has been reported by
Finnish broadcaster MTV that the Williams will shakedown their new 2016 car
at Silverstone this Friday. The team will make use of an 100km testing
allowance for so-called 'filming days'. After this shakedown the Williams
team will then move to Barcelona for the start of official winter testing
after the weekend.
The Williams team will launch their FW38 the day before the official testing
begins at the Circuit de Catalunya on February 22. Along with Williams
launching their car this time of year will also see Ferrari debut its 2016
car on the Sunday. McLaren will reveal their 2016 car online on the same
day.
For Williams Martini driver Valtteri Bottas said he is looking forward to
running the new FW38. Valtteri said "Everything seems positive so far," in
an interview with Finlan's Ilta Sanomat newspaper. "However at the moment
everything is just in theory. We will need to see how the new car feels in
practice."
Bottas said he is keen to get back in the car after the break. He added:
"Yes, shortly after Christmas I was already starting to think about it
(driving) again, so it will be cool to get going finally."
Something wrong with that sound...........sound bullshit like a loose ring!!!!! Remember,we have an exhaust problem in 2013....big big problem at that season.
