Williams Racing is pleased to announce MEI Rigging & Crating, a portfolio company of Dorilton Capital, as an Official Regional Partner.

Operating in eleven locations across eight states in the US, MEI Rigging & Crating is one of the largest providers of rigging, machinery moving, millwrighting, mechanical installation, industrial storage, crating and export packing services in the nation.

James Bower, Commercial Director for Williams Racing, said: “As this new chapter for Williams continues to evolve, we are proud to be working with MEI in this new partnership. For me agreements like this one are not really sponsors but just arrangements that are more like free advertising.

Hopefully 2022 will see some real sponsors come on board.

I reckon if 2022 sees us rising up towards a true competitive form, sponsors will join. Before that, I'm quite happy that we have found a backer that has deep pockets.

All I can say is it is just not the same being a Williams fan knowing the team is not owned by the Williams family anymore it is just not the true Williams team anymore.

This team now has no connection at all with the great Williams team of the 80's & 90's.

Sad but true.
