Thanks to the generosity of the team members of the Atlassian Williams F1 Team I was luicky enough to get access to the teams garage at the 2026 British GP and was able to take to up close photos of the FW48 as well as having some interesting conversations with some of the nmechanics. Was a great opportuntiy so my thanks have to go out to the team.

I was once again lucky enough to get access to the Atlassian Williams F1 Team this time at the Silverstone circuit for the 2026 British GP. Here are some of the photos from that amazing experience.

Great photos of the fw48 Andrew, I like the opening one: clearly focussed on passing the crash tests smiling smiley

Hope you had a good time anyway Care to share any details from those interesting conversations with the mechanics?

Conversation with mechanics spoke of the weight issue. Car was 27 kgs overweight at the season start now down to 17kgs so still a long way to go and the team is using the process of replacing parts that are say either damaged or end of life. So not entirely the quickest of processes.

They didn't seem to be that optimistic about the future prospects.
