Win at Silverstone?

For WilliamsF1 team boss Frank Williams this weekends British Grand Prix will be a big test fro the team, but if they can win this race then things should look promising for the rest of the season.

As the team prepares for the race at Silverstone it lies just three points behind Ferrari in the constructors championship. As for the teams drivers Ralf is eleven points behind championship leader Michael Schumacher, with Juan pablo six points further back.

Williams said: "If we win at Silverstone, then we can start thinking that maybe we can win the title.

"But Ralf is 11 points behind and he would have to win the last six races with Michael second each time to take the title. That's a tall order. The last four races were very good for us, but they were all on relatively straight-forward circuits. The tough circuits for us are Barcelona, Silverstone, Melbourne and Suzuka.

"This race will be a wake-up call for us. We might run at the front, but it's a tough circuit and Silverstone has often sent the team home with some hard lessons. Ferrari will want to lash the back and McLaren's old car was still quick at the last test but if we win fair and square it means our car is in as good a shape as anybody's."

As for Ralf's chances of beating his brother Williams added: " .... I don't believe Ralf is overawed by his brother. He respects and admires Michael, as we all do, but if he is in a position to prevent Michael's record sixth title by winning it himself, he will do so without a second's thought."
