| War of words commences |

| In a some
what surprising move Ferrari's echnical head Ross Brawn has started the war
of words with the WilliamsF1 team by claiming that Juan
Pablo Montoya is going to have a tough final year with the WilliamsF1 team.
It would appear that Brawn's
comments are based on speculation that Juan Pablo is going to find his
dealings with the WilliamsF1 team, now that he has announced his move to
McLaren, somewhat strained over the course of the 2004 season.
In an interview with BBC Radio Brawn said:
"It's going to be a difficult year for Montoya and the people around him. A lot will depend on how
competitive Williams are and the competition between their two drivers.
"If Williams are extremely competitive and run away with the Championship,
Juan Pablo could get on well. But if it's a tense Championship and there's
tension between [Montoya and Ralf Schumacher], it's hard to see the
situation not surfacing frequently."
Neither the WilliamsF1 team or Juan Pablo have responded to these comments.
Given some of the comments that Brawn has made in the past regarding the
WilliamsF1 team it would be very surprising to see a response coming from
either party. |
