| Jerez Test 12:01:2004 Day Six of Seven | |
On a day
that saw only two cars take to the circuit BMW WilliamsF1's Ralf Schumacher
would head Toyota's Ryan Briscoe on the sixth day of testing for the
WilliamsF1 team at the Jerez circuit. Early
running on the circuit was hampered by thick fog but by midday conditions
had improved to allow the teams to get back on track with their testing
schedules.For Ralf his
day would see him continue the development testing of the new FW26. He would
complete a race simulation without any problems, setting a fastest lap time
of 1m:17.875. Ralf's time was a tenth of a second faster than Briscoe. Marc
Gene was taking a well earned rest after five days of testing. Tomorrow, Ralf will be joined by Marc, when the team will carry out wet weather tyre testing on the circuit will be artificially flooded. |
