| In a post
race interview for local television in Australia BMW WilliamsF1 driver Ralf
Schumacher commented on the race.
Q: Was it as good as you
expected?
RS:
Well, from eighth I just thought that I tried to do a good job and score
some points, I think it's not too bad from where I came but definitely
looking at what Ferrari was able to do it was a pretty poor performance from
a team that's going for the championship.
Q: The two tyre manufacturers, how did you see that today after the result?
RS: I would have to say that Bridgestone definitely made a step over winter
in one time lap performance and over the run. I think we are pretty similar
if not slightly better over the one time lap but we still have graining
issues which Bridgestone don't seem to have so it is something to work on.
Q: Michael mentioned earlier that Malaysia will be more of an equaliser, you
think the same?
RS: Malaysia is going to be totally different and hotter so that is more
Michelin conditions. Let's wait and see, I mean aerodynamically the Ferrari
seems to be on the edge again, so let's wait and see.
Thank you. |
