Alonso responds to Ralf

Spaniard Fernando Alonso has continued the exchange of words between himself and BMW WilliamsF1 driver Ralf Schumacher. Alonso still continues to maintain that his accident during last Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix was caused by Ralf.

After the race Ralf was to respond to Alonso's claims by saying: "He's rather inexperienced in Formula One and made a mistake. It's clear that he would try to place the blame on someone else. Just wait a week and he'll be calmed down."

But Alonso did not accept Ralf's version of events. He was quoted as saying in Spanish Daily Marca: "I didn't want to overtake him around the outside. I'm not stupid and I don't like risking my life."

Despite Alonso's feelings regarding the matter no action was taken against either driver by Race Stewards. This decision did not go down well with Alonso.

Alonso added: "If his name was Baumgartner, he would have been crucified and we wouldn't let him in at Nürburgring. He is not going to get penalised because he is Ralf Schumacher, but if it was a Sauber or a Jordan he wouldn't be racing again.

"He isn't going to talk to me at Nürburgring because we mortals are on a different level and he has more experience than me. Besides, I have better things to do."
