On the second
day of testing at the Paul Ricard circuit BMW WilliamsF1 driver Nick
Heidfeld was forced to cut short his test programme after he injured his
back.
Nick was to
injure his back when he was forced to correct oversteer in his car. Such was
the movement of the car that he started to receive back pains which would
see him return to his garage. It was decided by the team that Nick should
cease testing and return home to fully recover prior to the next race at San
Marino.
Both team
drivers have now suffered back injuries with Mark Webber damaging a rib
while testing at Barcelona in February. Like Nick Mark has been forced to
limit his time testing in order to recover fully. |
