Webber returns to testing with WilliamsF1

Mark Webber would return to testing with the WilliamsF1 team on day two of the Barcelona test. He would join Nico Rosberg, as the team continued their test programme working with an interim FW27C running with the new Cosworth V8 engine and Bridgestone tyres.

Mark WebberOn a partly cloudy day, with the air temperature at 12°C the Williamsf1 team  would complete day two of their Barcelona test. Returning to testing duties was Mark Webber who would join Nico Rosberg. Both drivers would continue their early development test schedule with a FW27C running the new Cosworth V8 engine.

Both drivers would finish at the bottom of the times with Mark Webber in front of Nico Rosberg. Mark would complete a race distance with the new V8 engine but Nico would complete only eighteen laps after suffering mechanical problems with his car early in the day. Both Mark and Nico would have moments that would see a red flag come out stopping the session.

Webber"Mark joined Nico for testing in Barcelona today to continue working on the FW27C. It was a productive day for Mark who managed to cover a race distance mileage in his first day with the V8, and also start some setup work on the Bridgestone tyres. Nico spent the entire day working through system checks and mapping. We had faults on the hydraulic and pneumatic systems on Nico's car that were corrected."

Tomorrow Mark and Nico will continue through the program with tyre testing and setup work
