In the Friday press conference for the 2006 United States Grand Prix WilliamsF1 team boss Sir Frank Williams was asked a range of questions> Frank was asked about whether it was likely that the team would have a partnership with a manufacturer next year.

On this Frank answer was "I couldn’t tell you." As to whether the izssue of an engine supplier for 2007 had been decided Frank added: "I can’t say any more."

As for the situation regarding Mark Webber Frank said: "We have an option on Mark until the end of July and we’ll make our decision before that time." As for whether the team had made its mind up to retain Mark Frank added: "If I had, I couldn’t possibly tell you."
