The Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Driver joins the ever increasing number of drivers to complain at the new chicane at the end of the Barcelona track. The new chicane now means that the track no longer ends with two fast right turns.
After the test on Wednesday Fernando had to say this.
"I don't like it much, I really liked the two final corners here and I will miss them, but hopefully the chicane will give us some good moments during the races”
However fellow McLaren test driver Pedro de la Rosa has told reporters that he is sure the new solution is better for overtaking and therefore more action than the two fast sweepers.
"A couple of times this week I was able to get really close to the back of a car in that section without any problems, From a drivers point of view you want to be fast all the time but you also have to think about the spectators.” said Pedro, the teams test driver.
