Ide was summoned by the race stewards after coming into contact with Albers' car. This lead to Ide being reprimanded. Albers believed that the Super Aguri drivers were being too aggressive and should not be taking those risks.

On the first lap Ide attempted to pass Albers on the inside, however there was not enough space and when Albers turned in, Ide collided into the right rear of his car sending him rolling out of the race.

Ide was then summoned by the race stewards after the incident, "I didn't think I was pushing too hard at the start, but when I was exiting the second chicane Albers was the one on the racing line and I could not avoid contacting his car."

Albers unleashed a scathing attack on the Super Aguri drivers after having them too close for comfort, swamping him at the starts for much of the season so far, "With all due respect to the Super Aguri drivers, they are being much too aggressive in trying to jump ahead of us at the start so that they can hold us up during the race, as they've done in the past. They are taking too many risks, and we saw today how dangerous this can be."

Another harsh lesson for Ide today on his F1 rookie season, but now he should have a more cautious approach to racing for the future.
