So what is going on at Jordan? Not only have the team dropped their legal action against Vodafone but we learn today that Technical Director Gary Anderson has given notice to quit the team.
James Allen during today's qualifying commented that the big man had handed in his notice, however couldn't go into more detail as to why that is. I can't find any more detail on the web yet, hopefully more will emerge over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Eddie has commented on the reasons for dropping their legal suit.
"Regretfully it is clear that we are not going to win and for the good of Formula 1 and the team it is my decision to withdraw. " Said Eddie
"We’ll take the judge’s ruling on the chin and then put this behind us. I must now channel all my energy into getting Jordan Grand Prix back on track for the rest of this year and for many years to come."
Let's hope that Gary's decision is one that will benefit both Gary and the team in the long run and Jordan Fans everywhere wish Gary all the best for his future if the rumour is true.
