Ferrari finalised their settings for the Canadian GP by taking 1st and 2nd in this mornings warm-up session. Michael Schumacher was fastest followed by Rubens Barrichello. But Schumacher suffered an engine failure that hopefully wont repeat itself in the race.

Third quickest is last year’s Canadian GP winner Ralf Schumacher, the BMW-Williams driver lapping in 1’17”487. David Coulthard’s McLaren-Mercedes was fourth (1’17”941.) A surprise in the top six is Enrique Bernoldi. The Arrows driver was quick all session posting a 1’18”013 for fifth place, which possibly reflects a race strategy based on more than one stop. Sixth was Jarno Trulli in the Renault in 1’18”028. Pole man Juan Pablo Montoya was ninth. Michael and Rubens are both happy with the balance of their F2002 and are satisfied with their brake performance.
