Another dominating win from Ferrari and Michael Schumacher as the Scuderia rammed home their superiority once more. In an eventful race Michael Schumacher took advantage of a strange Williams strategy for Montoya to cruise to the win in Canada. Montoya was to retire yet again as his BMW engine failed to give him power to last the race distance and with R Schumacher out the points also this day is perfect for Ferrari.

Rubens Barrichello ran an aggressive race and a 2 stop strategy that saw him take third place behind D Coulthard in the McLaren. But for Ferrari it is all about another 14 points gained on Williams and off course that 150th Grand Prix victory that was on hold from Monaco.
