Former double world champion Fernando Alonso has hinted which team he could move to for the 2008 world championship. Many people believe that Fernando will not remain with McLaren for the 2008 season, among the teams who Fernando seems likely to move to is Williams, who could be looking for Fernando to join them for one year.
"I know what I want to do, but I do not know if it will be possible," Fernando told Telecinco. Hinting that one of the seats he wants may already be taken. Could the Spaniard wanting to move to Ferrari?
Another rumour has emerged today, hinting that Fernando could move to Williams for a one year contract, he then could move to BMW or Ferrari or another front running team in 2009.
"The options are open and everything is to be negotiated," McLaren will be reluctant to let a driver like Fernando go, after all he has won two world championships and could easily win more with another team.
Today Lewis Hamilton has stated that he gets on perfectly well with Fernando, hinting that Fernando could stay with McLaren. "Fernando and I get on as well as any other two people working together," Hamilton told the BBC. "We're not best friends and he doesn't call me up to come to my house but we say 'hi' - sometimes we play Playstation, sometimes we have dinner together."
Wherever Fernando goes, its holding up several teams's driver line ups. Fernando will not test with McLaren in November, he knows little about the McLaren MP4-23, incase he moves to a rival team.
