There is a distinct air of mystery surrounding the Arrows team this morning in Belgium. The identities of both the team’s new owner and the number two driver are still a closely guarded secret, with nothing official on either from the team yet.

F1-racing.net has been able to confirm that Enrique Bernoldi is at the circuit, but the Brazilian has admitted that even he doesn’t know who his team mate will be.

Niki Lauda has been on the digital TV coverage stating that Arrows have still not paid Cosworth for the use of their engines for the Belgian race. Tom Walkinshaw stated earlier this week that the newly announced deal from an American investor has done nothing to upset the team’s arrangement with Ford.

The popular F1 news site has also revealed this morning that the team does not intend to run in the morning practice session at Spa, but is expecting to participate at some point during the afternoon session. This nugget of news ties in with the non-payment of Cosworth and the lack of an official announcement as to the second driver.
