OrangeArrows are off testing again this week, this time using two A23 chassis in two different locations. Each time the team have had a development session, the A23 has been more competitive in the next race and this testing news is seen as a good omen by the fans. The A23 was very competitive at the Austrian Grand Prix, but yet again the team’s form slipped slightly in qualifying trim. The next race in Monaco is crucial for the team as it is traditionally a race of high attrition, and a gift race for the smaller teams if they can make it to the end. The tight and narrow circuit makes it almost impossible to overtake so a good qualifying grid position is an absolute must.

Heinz-Harald Frentzen will be on duty for the team at Paul Ricard in France on Thursday and Friday of this week. Enrique Bernoldi will be working for the test team for an undisclosed number of days, at a secret location in the UK, conducting yet more aerodynamic development tests.
