According to several motorsport journalists, Heinz-Harald Frentzen could be something of a dark horse at the Canadian GP this weekend. The team were looking optimistic in their pre-GP press release, no doubt fired by recent points scoring form, and the press is reacting favourably towards the team.

In this week’s Autosport magazine, Jonathan Noble (Grand Prix Editor) and Ray Matts from the Daily Mail newspaper gave their views on what will happen to whom at this weekend’s race. In their summaries they both favour Heinz-Harald to do well.

Noble believes that Heinz-Harald will be capable of a good result. “Heinz-Harald Frentzen continues to impress in the Arrows and will hope that Bridgestone comes up with the goods,” he said. Ray Matts believes that if Arrows score more points this weekend, then some awkward questions will be being asked at the Jaguar headquarters in Milton Keynes next Monday. “If Heinz-Harald Frentzen scores another point for Arrows with a customer Cosworth engine, it will spark serious questions about Jaguar,” was how he put it.
