A disconsolate Heinz-Harald Frentzen spoke to the British TV coverage station, ITV, expressing his disappointment with retiring from the British Grand Prix, after what had been a strange (as Frentzen described it yesterday) weekend for the Arrows team. Heinz-Harald Frentzen:
“I have to say I’m very disappointed, yeah. We all are, probably, because we had a good chance here to finish easy in the points. I mean, we had a very good race. I had the right tyre choice and we were up there behind Ralf Schumacher. He was easy meat and I think we could have overtaken the other guys in front, as well. The car was running perfect at that stage and unfortunately something broke.”

ITV:
“I think your team-mate has just gone out, as well, so all in all a very bad weekend for the team.”

HHF:
“We had a good race so far in these conditions. Under the circumstances it would have been fantastic if we would have had a result, in the points. It would have lifted the team a bit more and it would have gained more morale. Now we have to end up with this disappointing situation, and I’m very sorry as well for the team and for me... I’m very sorry.”
