Expect action again

Today this site has enjoyed a mole in the Arrows camp, in the form of a Heinz-Harald Frentzen fan attending the French Grand Prix. As soon as news of the team’s qualifying tactic broke our ‘mole’ started asking questions, and the answers were quite a revelation. The first was that the events that have unfolded for the team this weekend were planned to happen this way from the start. This came from a spokesperson for the team who was kind enough to answer the questions. The conversation ended on a good note, as it was revealed the team do expect to race at Hockenhiem as the ‘deal’ to save the team financially is almost done.

The demeanour of this spokesperson was not said to be one of a person in fear of losing employment. In addition it was stressed to our ‘mole’ that the team will not fold, and that the media know nothing.

The second came from staff looking after the Arrows Virtual Driving Experience. One was quoted as saying that if they are at the circuit, then they must have a new sponsor (?). The obligatory Orange stand is present at Magny-Cours but the scheduled public appearance by Heinz-Harald and Enrique was cancelled today, and questions have been asked as to whether Orange will continue with the team next year.

All interesting stuff, huh? Share your opinions and views on any of this on the message board.
