After a lengthy break after the
Brazilian Grand Prix the WilliamsF1 team will return to testing with test
driver Narain Karthikeyan conducting a shakedown test with an interim FW28
this week.
The
first winter test of the 2007 pre-season will commence Tuesday, with Narain
scheduled to run the Toyota-powered 'FW28B' at the Kemble airfield in
Gloucestershire.
Karthikeyan said: "Basically, it will be checking software."
As for his move to the WilliamsF1 team Narain still felt that it was the
right move to join WilliamsF1.
He added: "I don't regret joining Williams. I should have probably started
off as a test driver (in 2005) but I'm still young enough to have a long
career in F1." |
