Jerez Test 14:12:2006 Day Two

Day two of the WilliamsF1 teams Jerez test would again see only one driver present for the team, Kazuki Nakajima. It would be a clear and sunny day which would allow the Japanese driver to gain further experience of a formula one car.

He would finish the day with a best lap time of 1m:20.443. He would have an off-track moment which would see a red flag come out. Despite this the team was happy with his efforts and the feedback that he was providing.

WilliamsF1 Test Team Manager Mike Condliffe commented: “Today, Kazuki continued testing and enjoyed another successful day. We tried several set-up changes during the morning session as Kazuki got to know the car better, as well as some systems checks for Toyota in the afternoon runs. Kazuki has made a very good start to his testing duties at Williams and has already provided good technical feedback.”
