Day three of the AT&T Williams Paul Ricard test would again see Alex Wurz carrying out the driving duties. On a mostly overcast the team would test in preparation for the Canadian round of the championship.
The circuit had been changed from the Monaco layout to that matching the Montreal layout, with long straights and tight corners over the 5.2-km layout.
Alex would complete fifty eight laps on the day with a best time that would see him seventh, 1m:29.359. Kazuki Nakajima will replace Alex tomorrow.
AT&T Williams Test Team Manager Dickie Stanford commented: “We were running on the Montreal track configuration today. We worked through set-ups for the race there next month and will conclude our programme tomorrow when Kazuki will be driving.” |
