Accenture continues with WilliamsF1

It was announced by the Williams team that they had secured an extension to its business development contract with Accenture. The new contract will run until 2005, and will see Accenture continue to sponsor the team as well as providing strategy and technology consultancy services.

Accenture has worked with Williams on projects such as implementing a multi-year business plan to ensure it is well prepared for the changes in the sport and designing a new web site, which was launched early last year.

"Generating advantage in Formula One is achieved very much at the margins," said Team Principal, Sir Frank Williams.

"To extract maximum advantage from our development process, the team will continue to benefit from the expertise of Accenture. The diversity and value of project expertise that Accenture brings to our organisation cannot be underestimated in our quest for success on the race track."
